What a fantastic week!
We are not long back at H&I Adventures HQ after a fantastic Coast to Coast trip from Aberdeen in the East to Ardnamurchan, the furthest westerly point on mainland UK.
Last Saturday we set off from a sunny Aberdeen around midday heading in a same westerly direction that we would be riding in for the next seven days! The trails were riding very well after a fairly dry spell and the mood was buoyant, with the unknown of what was to come. We have spent many years developing this trip, but each time we ride it we add sections of newly found singletrack, so as ever the group who were on this trip were part of ‘trip history’ with some stunning new singletrack in Ballater and the Cairngorms.
We took an unschedulled stop at Laggan Wolftrax to show the group what our man-made trails are like, and they loved it! It was like herding cats when it was time to leave!! Then onto the second half of the trip that saw us riding the challenging Corrieyairack pass, the Great Glen Way and then into the remote and truly stunning Ardnamurchan peninsula and onto our final stop at the lighthouse.

As ever on this trip we were supported by Andy from G0-Where who transported our bags and kept us fed and watered through-out our trip! And what a spread of locally produced food he put on each day.
So all said and done it was a great trip with NO punctures or mechanical’s all week and everyone made it to the end!
Sweet!
